In June 2019, during my transition leave from the Army, I obtained my CDL and subsequently was hired by Southeast Independent as a Yard Driver. After my transition to Reserves, the company consistently supported my obligations as a reservist by accommodating my schedule for drill weekends. Over time, I was offered the opportunity to move from driving into management. SE Independent has always been flexible with my schedule, allowing ample time to spend with my family and supporting my career growth within the organization.
